A little show about circus

A small selection of photographs from a shoot I did recently for a project I am doing for university. I have to curate a hypothetical exhibition, mine is going to be called 'A little show about circus' concentrating on fashion and its relationship with the circus as a reference. I am really really in love with the fake moustache, I purchased it in a joke shop in Cornwall. Its got wire in it so it can be bent in to any shape, so much fun! This was a collaborative effort between my mum and I, it really made me miss the silly shoots we used to do ! Definitely intend to do more like this, so watch this space !

Cotswold 88

During my visit to the Cotswolds i had the pleasure of lunching at Cotswold 88, a true find in this otherwise idilic country village, Cotswold 88 establishes a modern and stylish hotel in an traditional setting. The eccentric decor and artistic furnishing were only surpassed by the quality and display of the food, eaten whilst listening to classic massive attack (seriously brilliant). A real success and a future potential for a new years eve party! 

Autumn Rest

A week away from the city to visit my mother in the Cotswolds to catch the last of Autumnal colours. A glorious day spent with family and old friends. Lunch in a hunting lodge with roasted grouse and malt wine. This week has really got me excited for christmas and simple pleasures such as mince pies, twinkling lights and one of Lally's home cooked dinners. Happy Autumn everyone. 

A weekend of vintage

These last few weekends have been filed with Vintage Goodness ! My particular favourite being the Vintage Kilo Sale, that took place on Saturday on Brick Lane. I spent most of the day dashing about flyering (heels were definitely not a winning option!) and generally convincing people that vintage is the way to go ! At the end of the day I found time, despite really needing a coffee, to grab some bargains of my own. Including an amazing ivory silk shirt, some bright red tennis shorts and a lovely floral dress with massive pockets (I love dresses with pockets !) .

The next Kilo Sale in London is on the 17th of December. It starts at 11 am and only costs £1 to get in , AMAZING. All clothes are £15 a Kilo or you can buy items separately (price list on the website).  If you haven't been before , get yourself down there, its perfect for picking up last minute Christmas presents or just kitting yourself out with a new look for the new year !
