Oliver Spencer AW1213

The Oliver Spencer show had a real sense of achievement and ambition. A collection for all men portrayed through not only its eclectic use of models but its variation in technique, structure and silhouette whilst maintaing the essential fluidity of a strong collection. The sharp, clean set displayed the clothes vividly and really echoed to a formal, regimented mens collection. My two highlights were the sense of joy on the designer's face as he took his finale bow, oh and chatting about the show to David Gandy was also a winner! These are a few of my favorite looks...

The Edwardian Garden

Lately, probably due to my extensive research for my current essay, I have been feeling very inspired by Edwardian gardens, picnicking and Italian landscapes. Above is how my brain looks at the moment, , I only wish my outfit resembled it too. Instead I am wearing my comfiest clothing and trying desperately to accomplish lots, wish me luck!

p.s I just made the happy discovery that some of my favourite flowers are nicknamed Edwardiana !

A City Break

I spent Valentines day in Edinburgh exploring and eating delicious delights. Its one of the most beautiful cities I've ever visited. We walked everywhere and found an abundance of amazing charity and vintage shops. My favourite was armstrongs, it was packed full to the brim with the most amazing selection of dresses I have ever seen and all very reasonably priced. There was an amazing white feathered hat which I wish wish wish I'd purchased! Oh well I suppose it gives me a reason to return !

Forget me not

Sending and receiving letters is one of lifes great pleasures. I feel this is an appropriate letter writing ensemble, a gingham smock frock and knitted tights all top off with a chignon ! Today I am dreaming of the seaside and hazy summer days and mountains of pastel coloured icecream yummmeee.
